    the soi 23 had a really strong coffee taste, just something to keep in mind matcha crema had good matcha flavor, not that creamy though

    i've been on a matcha kick lately, and had this spot bookmarked for a while. finally stopped by last week, and i already can't wait to come back! i got the iced matcha + crema, unsweetened. was debating on whether or not to add an extra matcha shot, but decided not to. and it was incredible. although i could've used an extra matcha shot for a bit more depth of flavor, it's one the best high quality iced matchas i've ever had. still searching for my favorite spot in the bay, but this one is top on the list for now! a bit pricey as most drinks are nowadays ($7.96), it'll mostly be a treat for me to come back for another. and it'll be 100% worth it!

    I didn't believe that a self-proclaimed coffee shop could make the best matcha in Berkeley (RIP Three Tea Bowls pop-up) but I was proven wrong over and over again by Mind Coffee. The matcha here is unreasonably good and fills the void that Three Tea Bowls left behind. Asha Tea House is no competition. When I visit Berkeley, I make a point to come here every time just for their matcha lattes. I have always ordered on Snackpass and grabbed my drink to go, but you are able to place orders in-person. It appears that most people order in advance on Snackpass though, so you may have less of a wait if you do so as well. There isn't much space inside so you may end up having to wait in a tight corner or out on the sidewalk if you place an order in-person. There is a good amount of seating on various bean bags in the cafe. However, every time I have stepped inside, every single seat has been occupied by people studying and working. It seems like you have to arrive early or get lucky if you plan to sit and sip. The interior has always been remarkably clean, especially given how white every surface is. I highly recommend checking out Mind Coffee if you're in Berkeley. They're right next to campus on northside so you can stroll around campus or up to the rose garden with a delicious drink in hand.

    Stopped by for the sandwich cart in the front. We wanted to get some drinks to go with it, so we ordered the iced hojicha latte with sweet cream added and matcha latte from the kiosk. Service was quick, considering not much interaction. Love how they don't charge for oat milk not almond milk! That's the way to do this! The seats are on the floor with cushions and tables with regular chairs (so Cute!) The lay out surprised me to see the the next door barber door so close to theirs. Metered parking.
